Appearance The Fulcrum of Eternity is a perfectly symmetrical crystal approximately six inches in height, its geometric form defying easy classification—sometimes appearing as an octahedron, sometimes as a dodecahedron, shifting imperceptibly between states. Each facet reflects a different aspect of reality: one shows the world as it is, another as it was, another as it might be. The crystal's coloration responds to surrounding forces—darkening to deep violet in places of instability, brightening to white-gold in sanctuaries of harmony. At its heart, a steady light pulses to the rhythm of universal equilibrium.

Truth's Decree The bearer can compel honesty:

• When a creature within 60 feet speaks a deliberate lie, the Fulcrum flares

• Liar must succeed DC 45 Will save or speak the truth

• All creatures within 30 feet become aware of the deception

Drawbacks

Divine Requirement: The Fulcrum resonates only with those who believe in the divine order of the cosmos and who embody the principles of balance, truth, and harmony. A creature who denies the existence of the gods cannot activate any of the Fulcrum's abilities.

Weight of Balance: The bearer feels compelled to intervene in situations of great injustice or cosmic imbalance, even when doing so is dangerous or inconvenient. Ignoring such situations may cause the Fulcrum to become inert until atonement is made.

Blinding Truth: The bearer becomes increasingly intolerant of deception in all forms. Minor lies—even polite social falsehoods—become physically uncomfortable to hear, potentially straining relationships and making diplomacy difficult.
